By signing below, I agree to be bound by its terms and conditions. A compressed work week aims to create flexible conditions to help employees better integrate their work and private lives and better manage commuting, care, continuing education or community service. Successful compressed weekly work arrangements meet the needs of the individual, unit or department. The agreement focuses on the performance of the work and the compliance with the requirements of the company. A written agreement is needed to clarify the expectations of both parties. This flexible working time agreement is established between [company name] and [staff name]. This agreement is applicable from [date] and remains in effect indefinitely, unless amended or terminated by [the company name] or the employee.

If the company or employee intends to terminate this contract, a written termination is to stagnate for at least four weeks. In the event of an emergency in the workplace, this agreement may be suspended immediately and indefinitely. This agreement may be reviewed at any time if requested by one of the parties. Staff and the senior/division head complete the „Flexible Work Agreement“ form. Changes in the order of work cannot be changed without prior discussion and amendment to the agreement. For the staff represented, the senior/division head requests the verification and approval of the proposed agreement from a staff member/labour relations specialist to ensure compliance with UC/Union collective agreements and/or the Fair Labour Standards Act. The supervisor/head of department ensures open communication, ensures that the worker`s hours of work are not covered by normal weekly schedules, and discusses all concerns with the worker as soon as they occur. The employee initiates a request for a compressed work week by forwarding a proposal to his supervisor/department manager. This agreement assumes that the worker meets the conditions at all times: the worker must work the agreed hours and obtain the agreement of the supervisor/head of department to work overtime. All employee obligations and responsibilities and terms of employment with the company remain unchanged, with the exception of those expressly amended by this agreement.
